BOARD
The Board comprises 13 clergy and 14 laity - includes the Bishop of Connor, the Bishop of Down and Dromore, the Dean and eight members of the Chapter, the two Churchwardens and twelve members elected from the General Vestry annually. The Board which was established by Act of General Synod, is also a limited liability company. The Chairman of the Board is the Bishop of Connor, his deputy designated by the act of General Synod being the Dean.

CHAPTER
The Chapter comprises of four canons from each of the two dioceses who are nominated by the Bishop of the diocese. Two members are elected by the Chapter. The Archdeacon of Down is the Chancellor of the Cathedral and the Archdeacon of Connor is the Precentor.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG MEMBERS' MINISTRY
Children and Young Members are highly valued at the Cathedral. They meet in the Cathedral Centre each Sunday in term time and join in the Eucharist from after the sermon, with the exception of the Fourth Sunday when the address is to the choristers and young members.

COFFEE AND CATHEDRAL CRAIC
Each Sunday after the Choral Eucharist the Cathedral Community gather at the west end. The rota of hospitality is co-ordinated by Margaret Massey. Offer to help - please contact the Cathedral Office - 9032 8332 extn 5

FRIENDS OF BELFAST CATHEDRAL
The Friends organise a spring and an autumn outing which includes a visit to a church. They also have been a constant support for the various developments over the past century at the Cathedral.
